Pre-Arranging and Pre-Paying
Pre-arranging some or your entire funeral helps eliminate the financial burden your family may feel at the time of your death. It will also be helpful to your family to know that your wishes have been recorded and are kept on file here at Purely Cremations and Simple Burials and that those wishes will be carried out professionally and with dignity. You can even pre-arrange your monument/headstone/plaque.
Today many of us have enough to deal with, without being concerned about our funeral expenses. Some people worry about how their funeral account will be paid.
A pre-paid funeral trust allows money to be set aside in a specially created trust that is accessed when the time comes to pay funeral expenses. Note that these funds go TOWARDS THE COST OF THE FUNERAL. That the payment is not THE cost of the funeral.
Advanced payments for funerals cannot be accepted unless the monies are paid into a Pre-paid Funeral Trust; thereby clients funds are held by an independent company and not by The Lychway Funeral Directors or any of its companies bank accounts.
The company utilizes:
- in the first Instance The FDANZ Funeral Trust. This trust is managed by the FDANZ and allows for regular deposits to be deposited into the Trust.

Perpetual Guardian Trust
The interest earned is compounding and remains yours.
These funds are excluded from asset testing when assessment is being made for eligibility for long-term care.
You may pay up to $10,000 per person into a funeral trust.

Unlike many other schemes, no fees are charged by Purely Cremations and Simple Burials.
